A word about parking: Although parking can look challenging, especially during a special event like Jazz Night, there's plenty of FREE parking available in garages in Shirlington. After 6 pm, you may park in either the garage located directly behind our store (despite restrictions noted on spaces, all parking is open to Shirlington customers after 6 pm) or the new Randolph Street parking garage behind the new building (the entrance to that garage is down the alley opposite the entrance to the garage behind our store). Between the two garages, that's 14 levels of unrestricted parking after 6 pm!
OUTDOOR JAZZ & WINE FESTIVAL TONIGHT! (Wed, Jun 17, 6:30-8:30 pm) Anxious to make the most of summer living? Plan to step out in Shirlington each Wednesday in June, with a FREE live jazz concert right on the plaza in front of Signature Theatre! The series continues TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30 to 8:30, weather permitting, with a performance by The Lovejoy Group. While you listen, you can also purchase a wine tasting card and sample a lineup of four great summer wines selected by The Curious Grape! Wine tasting cards are just $5 and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Arlington Food Assistance Program. Special boxed meals will also be available for purchase during the event, so you can enjoy a meal with your wine! Please note: Only cash will be accepted for tasting cards and boxed meals. ATMs are conveniently located inside Harris Teeter and next to Busboys & Poets. Even better: Stop by the tasting bar before or after the show, from 6 to 9 pm for our special FREE tasting and you can make it a tasting double-header! Whether or not the jazz gets rained out, our FREE in-store tasting will feature a stellar selection of splashy summer wines from southern France, including: - a refreshing, easy-drinking rosé, with flavors of watermelon and ripe berries
- a gorgeous, lush, aromatic white with floral aromas and flavors of ripe tropical fruit
- our new favorite Syrah, with a velvety texture and rich, chocolatey flavors

CHERYL'S FATHER'S DAY TASTING THIS THURSDAY (June 18, 6-8 pm) Need an excuse to pop by the tasting bar this Thursday? Cheryl's in and she'll be pouring a few exciting new arrivals, including bold, affordable reds, any of which would make a welcome Father's Day gift! The tasting begins with a festive, affordable sparkler from Argentina, which sold out immediately in a previous tasting.
