CALIFORNIA SEMINAR SERIES (THIS Tue, Oct 14, 6 & 7 pm) -- Our 3-Part FREE in-store seminar series on California wines concludes this week, with a whirlwind tour of California's vast Central Coast this Tuesday, October 14 at 6 & 7 pm. With famous names like Monterey, Santa Barbara, and Paso Robles, the Central Coast is arguably producing some of California's most exciting new wines, in a wide variety of styles, from world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to intense Zinfandel-based blends from Paso to wild spicy reds from the Rhone Rangers. Tuesday's seminar takes you on an exciting guided taste tour of the area, featuring up-and-coming wines to watch, with each wine paired with regional, artisanal cheeses and specialty foods. The seminar will be presented by Certified Wine Educator Suzanne Mcgrath and Certified Specialist of Wine Katie Park. Of course, you'll receive handy reference materials, as well as the tasting bar discount on all your favorite wines. As usual, the seminar is FREE but space is limited so reservations are required. Just give us a call at 703-671-8700 to reserve for the 6 pm or 7 pm session. Can't make it on Tuesday? This week's seminar will also be repeated on Saturday, October 18 at 1 pm.
